I am sharing my birth story to ease the fear of a lot of mothers out there. Growing up, I’ve been surrounded by many movies and ideas that say giving birth to a baby is dangerous, scary and unbearably painful. I find there’s more negative perceptions of childbirth than positive ones. Before having my own children, I thought giving birth had to be in a cold white hospital with lots of equipment, tubes, and machinery around us. It felt like a project, kind of more technology based. We can’t really move and are told what to do. We wait, undergo a lot of pain and suffering with possible interventions before baby is born. Giving birth to a baby is definitely no joke, it's life-changing, and it is a very tough process. However, from my experiences, it doesn’t have to be scary. It’s natural. Woman are built to carry babies and our bodies do know what to do if we let it. I find in this modern world, technology, marketing and personal gain has taken over. We have lost touch with our bodies and ourselves. We have adapted to relying on things to make us, ease us, and help us. When actually, we have all the tools within us to heal, recover, and do things. I want to remind everyone to never lose track of their abilities God gave us to begin with. My birthing experiences has been so empowering for me. It allowed me to get back within my true nature and trust in me, trust in what God has created. No matter what birth setting you choose, hospital, home, or any place possible. I pray for all the mothers out there to believe in yourself, let go of all fear, and let your body do its job. Embrace this journey. It's one of the most rewarding and meaningful events in your life. It may be up and down, and that’s ok. Have a peaceful, safe and smooth journey. My precious baby girl Kelly loves to spend time with mommy. She always wanted to try her Elsa makeup compact kit, but I never let her because her natural beauty is so mesmerizing to me. Plus, I don't want her to start putting makeup on her face at such an early age. However, we decided to have fun this time and let a little loose. It made her day! I was introduced to the benefits of apple cider vinegar by a dear friend of mine who is very knowledgeable about the holistic approach to healing the human body. I tried this drink and fell in love with it right away. Many times I either drink it diluted with water, or sometimes I make it taste sweeter by adding honey to it. I like it nice and warm either on an empty stomach or after meals, anytime of the day or night. It's become by immune booster drink for me and my whole family. The benefits are amazing and I've noticed an improvement in my overall physical appearance and overall health. I had a wonderful experience at the 2022 Tvb Awards. I made the most out of it. I saw many familiar faces and made sure I took a moment to speak to every one of them or at least gift them with a warm smile. Sometimes life doesn't work out the way you want it to and it's ok. I trust in every experience to fill me for the better. I gained so much and learned so much about myself. I am so blessed to have so many people around the world supporting me and loving me in ways I can not imagine. One thing I regret though is I didn't get a chance to take a picture with my 星空下的仁醫 team. There were so many people and it got so busy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time and choosing our drama to watch. For accepting my character and making friends with her as if she was a real person. I think Dr. Eman Cheung is like a friend I wish I had. She's so honest, so true to herself and to others, so fearless, so goofy, and so warming to be around. She only has one mission and that is to use the abilities God gifted her with to inspire and heal her patients. She has a simple mind that I wish I had. Thank you Eman for entering my life and inspiring me to do better. I wish everyone good health, true joy, and trust in life always. Hmm was bored and its been a long time that I've made a video, so here is one that I just made a couple minutes ago.:P Any feedback is welcome ;)
Before giving birth to baby Anika, I drank a detox soup. This recipe was given to me from my Chinese doctor. She said it would help me have a smoother, faster, easier labour. Also get rid of any toxins that have accumulated in my body. I drank something similar during all 3 of my pregnancies. However, this recipe had the most ingredients. After drinking it, I did feel stronger and more relaxed. I can't explain, I felt lighter and just healthier, like my body was more cleansed. For my 3rd pregnancy, I would say this one was the fastest and least complicated. I'm not sure if this recipe fits all women during pregnancy, but it did for me. Make sure you ask your doctor if this recipe is suitable for you. As you all know, everyone's body type is different.
