Don't know where to start when it comes to making bread? Do you only have all-purpose flour? Scared you're going to fail? Fear not!! This is the bread recipe you've been looking for! I will show you how to make bread step by step! Let's do this!! White Bread Recipe: 4 cups warm water 2 TBSP. active dry yeast Dash of white granulated sugar Mix together and let "foam" for 10 minutes in a warm place, covered. After 10 minutes, pour yeast mixture into large mixing bowl. Add: 1 TBSP. salt 1/3 cup olive oil 1/3 cup honey 5 cups all-purpose flour Mix. Add 5-7 more cups flour (ONE CUP AT A TIME) until dough is smooth and pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Knead by hand on lightly floured surface for 5-8 minutes. Place dough in a greased large bowl and spray dough with cooking spray. Then cover with a dish towel and let the dough rise until doubled in size, 30-45 minutes. Generously grease 3 (9 x 5 in) loaf pans and set aside. Punch down the dough, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead it briefly to remove the air bubbles. Divide dough in thirds, knead each section a few times, and then shape into a loaf. Place the dough into prepared loaf pans. Rub the top of the loaves with soft butter then cover with a dish towel and let rise 30-45 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake the loaves for 30 minutes. Immediately remove loaves from pans and cool on a wire rack. Rub the top with butter while still hot! You can freeze this bread in a freezer bag for up to 2 months! Thanks to Magic Spoon for sponsoring this video! Use my code RAGUSEA to get $5 off your delicious, healthy Magic Spoon cereal by clicking this link: 🤍 *RECIPE* 2 cups (474mL) water, divided in two 2 teaspoons (10g) salt (based on the Morton Kosher I use) 1/8 teaspoon dry yeast (two small pinches) bread flour (you'll need maybe 5-6 cups, 500-600g, but this recipe is not based on firm quantities) a little whole wheat flour, if you want (I like to replace maybe a tenth of the white bread flour with whole wheat — I just eyeball it) The night before you want to bake, mix a poolish by combining half of the water (1 cup, 237mL) with the yeast and enough flour to get a thick batter / pudding consistency. I think a wooden spoon is the best utensil to use for this, but whatever spoon you use, use something rigid. You can just leave the spoon in the poolish overnight. Cover the poolish and let it ferment 8-24 hours. About four hours before you want to bake, uncover the poolish and mix in the remaining cup (237mL) of water, salt, and as much flour as you can stir in with a spoon (no hand kneading). Again, you can leave the spoon in there. Cover and let rise/hydrate for about an hour. Check it again and see if you can stir in a little more flour now that the previous addition has hydrated. When you're done, you can get rid of the spoon. Cover and let rise/hydrate for another hour. These next steps I do in the bowl, just to keep the mess contained, FYI. Sprinkle the dough with a little flour to keep it from sticking to you. Grab one side of it and pull it out until just before it's going to tear, then fold it back in on itself. Rotate the dough 90 degrees and repeat until you've done this four total times. Position the dough so that the seems are on the bottom and the smooth surface is on top. Cover and let rest for about 20 minutes. Do the whole folding and stretching procedure again, rest 20 minutes, and then do it a third time. The following instructions are for baking this with a dutch oven. If you're using a baking sheet with a heat-safe metal bowl, skip to that part now. Get a sheet of parchment paper, crumple it up into a ball, un-crumple it and stuff it down into the bottom of your dutch oven. Transfer in the dough, smooth-side up. Cover the dutch oven (but not with the lid). Put the lid in your oven and get it heating to 500ºF/260ºC (some people get better results with slightly lower temperatures, but every oven is different). Let the dough proof for about a half hour while the oven heats up. When the dough is looking puffy, score the surface — I find a few quick, confident slashes with a serrated knife work ok. Put the dutch oven over a burner on your stove, turn the heat on high, and cove it with the hot lid from the oven. When the side of the dutch oven feel hot (it should just take a couple minutes), transfer the whole situation to your oven and let bake for a half hour undisturbed, so as to not let any steam escape. Carefully remove the hot lid, reduce the heat to 450ºF/230ºC and let the surface of the bread brown while the interior finishes baking, 10-20 more minutes. You can test the interior with a thermometer — anything in the neighborhood of 200ºF/93ºC is good. Let the bread cool before slicing. The following instructions are for doing this with a baking sheet and a heat-safe metal bowl. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. After you've done the whole folding thing three times, position the dough on the baking sheet, smooth-side up. Cover it with a heat-safe metal bowl that's big enough to not touch the dough as it rises and/or bakes. Get your oven heating to 500ºF/260ºC (some people get better results with slightly lower temperatures, but every oven is different). Let the dough proof for about a half hour while the oven heats up. When the dough is looking puffy, score the surface — I find a few quick, confident slashes with a serrated knife work ok. Move the whole pan/bowl rig into the oven and let bake for a half hour undisturbed, so as to not let any steam escape. Carefully remove the hot hot bowl. If your oven has a convection fan, turn it on. If not, just crank your oven to its highest temperature, if it can go any higher. Let the surface of the bread brown while the interior finishes baking, 10-20 more minutes. You can test the interior with a thermometer — anything in the neighborhood of 200ºF/93ºC is good. Let the bread cool before slicing.
This bread recipe is buttery, super soft and absolutely tasty! Ingredients 4 cups (all purpose flour or baking flour) 2 tablespoons cooking oil 2 tablespoons sugar 1-2 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons instant yeast (1 pack, 11grams) 1 cup warm water 1/2 cup milk ( milk of your choice) optional To your mixing container, add 1 cup warm water, 1/2 cup milk, 2 tbsp instant yeast, 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons cooking oil, 1 tsp salt. Give that a mix. Add flour gradually, 1 cup at a time, mixing mixture with a spoon until you have a sticky dough ball. Now start kneading with your hands, knead for about 3 minutes, then add butter in, knead for another 2 minutes If at anytime the dough becomes too sticky, dust some flour on and continue kneading until dough is soft and smooth. Cover with plastic wrap for about 30 minutes or until dough rise, double in size Dust a clean surface and place dough, cut in half and shape dough to the size of your baking container. Place dough in grease baking container, cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise, double in size. Now set oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake bread for 30- 40 minutes. Remove from oven and glazed with melted butter. Remove from baking container to prevent sogginess Allow to cool and serve Enjoy!!!

You don't have to be a professional baker to make this soft and fluffy bread. Today, I will show you how to make it easy and you'll be glad you're making your own bread and not gonna buy anymore. Here's what you'll need: 1 cup warm milk (236 ml) 1 tbsp sugar (10g) 2 tsp active dry yeast 3 cup all purpose flour (375g) + 1/3-1/2 cup for kneading ¼ cup sugar (50g) 1 tsp salt (5g) 1 large egg 1/3 cup melted butter (75g) 2 tbsp oil for your hand while kneading Eggwash 1 egg and 1 tbsp milk PORTUGUESE: Aqui está o que você precisará: 1 xícara de leite morno (236 ml) 1 colher de sopa de açúcar (10g) 2 colheres de chá de fermento seco ativo 3 xícaras de farinha de trigo (375g) + 1 / 3-1 / 2 xícara para amassar ¼ xícara de açúcar (50g) 1 colher de chá de sal (5g) 1 ovo grande 1/3 de xícara de manteiga derretida (75g) 2 colheres de sopa de óleo para a mão enquanto amassa Eggwash 1 ovo e 1 colher de sopa de leite ARABIC: OVEN - Baking time may vary depending on your oven's specification. I'm using a conventional oven which heat rises from the bottom. YEAST - Active dry yeast and instant yeast both help leaven bread and provide an airy, light texture, but they do so in slightly different ways and there's one major difference in how you use them: Active dry yeast needs to be dissolved in water before using, while instant yeast can be mixed right into dry ingredients. Stick to the recipe rigidly, the quantities are very important for successful results 2. Use scales for the measurements including the water, don't convert to cups or measuring jugs, they are too inaccurate 3. Use proper white bread flour with at least 12% protein, check the ingredients list on the side of the flour bag, protein may show in grams per serving but just work it out, it needs to be 12g of protein per 100g of flour, plain or all purpose flour is not strong enough for making bread. 4. Check your yeast is working you can do a yeast test as shown in my sandwich bread video here 🤍 Any problems or inquiries I'm always here to help. Let ferment at room temp for 6-24 hours. AUTOLYSE •180g or 3/4c warm water (86F/30C) •250g or 2c AP flour (11.7% protein) Into bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook, mix your Autolyse (water and flour) on low until combined. Slide ciabatta onto baking steel and pour boiling water into cast iron pan in the oven. Cover loaves with turkey pan, decrease heat to 480F/248C and bake for 12 min. Hannah, Daniel, and Family MY SOURDOUGH RECIPE: 🤍 CLICK HERE FOR THE BALLERINA FARM SOURDOUGH KIT and BOOKLET: 🤍 FULL RECIPE Ingredients 250 g active starter 735 g water + 50 g of water when you add the salt 1000 g all purpose flour (always use unbleached) 24 g sea salt DIRECTIONS 1. Add your active starter to a bowl. 2. Add 735 grams of water. 3. Mix starter with the water till it is “milky." 4. Add the flour. 5. Mix those ingredients together for 2-3 minutes until just combined with whisk then hands. 6. Cover the bowl and let it sit for 90 - 120 minutes. 7. Add the salt and remaining 50 grams of water using hands to mix. 8. Knead the dough for 5 - 10 minutes, until water and salt are fully incorporated. 9. Cover the dough and let rest at room temperature until doubled in size. OR place it in the fridge for 8-10 hours for a slower fermentation overnight. I prefer this method. 10. Shape Loaves: a) dump the dough onto a clean counter b) divide in half c) stretch to a rectangle d) fold over the sides first, then e) roll it up into a cylinder. The dough will be a little sticky, you can add flour if that helps! 10f) Once rolled up, push it away from you, and then pull towards you to build tension in the dough. Do that 3-4 times until your loaf is round and bouncy. 11. Repeat step 10 with the second loaf. 12. Leave the loaves on the counter uncovered for 20 minutes. 13. Using a bench scraper, lift and flip over. Gently repeat the shaping process (Step 10) one more time, the dough should be less sticky this time. 14. Repeat shaping steps with Loaf #2. 15. Gently, with a bench scraper, flip over and place the dough into the floured proofing baskets and cover with plastic. (I love to use shower caps.) 16. Place both baskets in the fridge for 2 hours to rest and rise. 17. Pre-heat the oven and cast iron pot (with lid) to 450º for at least 15 minutes or loaves are ready 18. Take your first loaf from fridge and flip the dough out of the proofing basket onto a sheet of parchment paper 19. Lightly flour the top of the loaf 20. Score your bread with the Ballerina Farm bread lame creating a shallow design. 21. Create the main score to allow expansion while baking. A C or O shape works well. 22. Add a small amount of water to the pot. Use the parchment paper to lift the dough, into the preheated cast iron pot. Then immediately into the oven. 23. Cover and bake for 30 minutes at 450℉ / 232℃ with the lid on - Remove the lid and put back in the oven for another 5-10 minutes or until a deep golden brown. 24. Remove from the oven and out of the pot to cool before slicing into it. 25. Repeat steps 19 -24 with the second loaf. Enjoy! Hi there! In this video, I will cook homemade bread. I confess I bake it for the first time, so I’m sure it will work for you too. You can support me here: 🤍 PayPal lubafromukraine🤍gmail.com INSTAGRAM: 🤍 🤍 RECIPE: Mix the dry ingredients Flour - 500gram Salt 1 teaspoon Sugar - 3 teaspoons Yeast 5 grams Then we add: Warm water-300 ml Oil - 2 tablespoons. Knead the dough for 7-10 minutes, and put it in a warm place for at least 40 minutes, so that it rises. I put it in a 30-degree oven. Then grease the form with oil, hands, and the surface also so that the dough does not stick .. Lightly sprinkle the dough with flour. I twist the dough several times into a roll and cover it with water/oil, for a golden crust. Brew for 30 minutes and bake at 190-200 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Cover the finished bread again with oil/water and let it cool completely. Done. #Cooking #Recipes #lubafromukraine #bread
