"Liebe am Werk - Emilie Flöge & Gustav Klimt" Doku F 2019 von Stéphanie Colaux. Aufnahme: ARTE 13.09.2020. Gustav Klimt war der unangefochtene Star unter den Künstlern des Wiener Fin de Siècle. Er war ein Meister der Alchemie, der Farben in Gold zu verwandeln schien. Berühmt und berüchtigt wurde er mit seinen erotischen Frauenbildnissen, die für Skandale sorgten. Emilie Flöge war eine der größten Modeschöpferinnen des beginnenden 20. Jahrhunderts. Flöge galt als eine faszinierende Person der Wiener Bohème und wurde Klimts Lebensgefährtin. Flöge lernte Klimt kennen, als sie 18 Jahre alt war. Damals heiratete ihre Schwester den Bruder von Gustav Klimt, der schon ein Jahr nach der Hochzeit verstarb. Klimt malte Emilie ab 1891 auf vielen seiner Bilder. Die beiden Künstler brechen in Wien mit sämtlichen Konventionen. Ihre Beziehung ist stärker als jede Ehe, als Seelenverwandte erforschen sie eine neue Form der Liebe. Emilie ist eine emanzipierte Frau, sie fährt selbst Auto, macht Sport, ist naturverbunden und tut alles, um ihre Leidenschaft, die Mode, zu ihrer Lebensaufgabe zu machen. Mit einer Gruppe von Künstlern gründet Gustav Klimt 1897 die Secession, die sich vom konservativen Künstlerhaus abspaltet. Unter den Gründungsmitgliedern sind die Maler Koloman Moser und Carl Moll sowie die Architekten Josef Hoffmann und Joseph Maria Olbrich. Olbrich gestaltet 1898 das Ausstellungshaus, ein gebautes Manifest für die Ideen der neuen Künstlervereinigung, die sich der aktuellen Moderne verschrieben hat. Klimt malt sein skandalträchtiges Gemälde „Nuda Veritas“ (1899), das eine lebensgroße weibliche Aktfigur darstellt, die dem Betrachter frontal gegenübertritt. Sie hält ihm einen Spiegel entgegen und konfrontiert ihn mit sich selbst. Auch Emilie Flöge geht in der Mode neue Wege. Sie gründete zusammen mit ihren zwei Schwestern im Jahr 1904 den Modesalon "Schwestern Flöge". Sie spezialisieren sich auf weit geschnittene Kleider – sogenannte Reformkleider – mit Volants und wilden, von Gustav Klimt entworfenen Mustern. Ihre Liebe bringt schließlich Klimts berühmtestes Bild hervor: Es ist „Der Kuss“, auf dem er sich selbst und Emilie als Liebespaar voller Leidenschaft und Hingabe darstellt.

Emilie che aveva uno spirito indipendente e creativo, aprì a vent’anni insieme a sua sorella il suo primo atelier il “Salon Schwester Flöge”, in Vienna nella centralissima Mariahilfer Straße. La tensione innovativa di Emilie trovò un estimatore in Gustav Klimt, che apprezzava le linee così nuove morbide e pulite, delle sue creazioni stilistiche. Con Klimt la collaborazione artistica era strettissima. Lui spesso le disegnava le stoffe e gioielli che ebbero tantissimo riscontro tra la clientela dell’atelier. Lei ispirava i dipinti femminili di lui con la sua figura alta e maestosa e la sua sicurezza e indipendenza. Tuttavia gli abiti più innovativi non vendevano, erano troppo pionieristici per la società conservatrice viennese. Ma Emilie, forte carismatica determinata e libera da pregiudizi, non smise mai di credere nella sua visione stilistica all’avanguardia e di creare i modelli che aveva dentro. Il movimento femminista la apprezzò come artista, come donna e anche come manager. What many don't know is that the robe depicted in it was based on a design by Emilie Flöge, a groundbreaking fashion designer and one of Klimt's closest friend. In this video I'll show you some of her dresses as well as pictures of her Viennese studio from 1905. Gustav Klimt biography: This video covers the life of famous artist Gustav Klimt from his beginnings in Baumgarten in Austria to his worldwide success. He was prodigiously talented even from a young age, as was his brother Ernst, who he would set up an artist's company with. Gustav The famous Austrian artist Gustav Klimt was the first president of the Viennese Secession, but his life was not without controversy, the University paintings being a good example. Klimt is best known for his portraits which are painted in a very decorative style often using gold leaf combining geometric decoration with realistic depictions of hands and faces. His most famous painting probably being The Kiss, completed in 1908. His relationship with the fashion designer Emilie Flöge is covered as his Beethoven Frieze. His controversial paintings, Philosophy, Medicine, and Jurisprudence which he completed for Vienna University are also discussed. Klimt died in Vienna in 1918 just 55 years old. And Sigmund Freud was about to change forever the way we think about the human mind. Vienna was experiencing a new golden age. Emilie siempre esperó que Klimt se casara con ella pero él nunca lo hizo. Aunque la amó, necesitó libertad para acostarse al mismo tiempo con otras mujeres. Cuando Gustav Klimt muere, tenía por lo menos 15 hijos, y aunque Emilie era su viuda oficial y la única persona por la que él preguntó en su lecho de muerte, nunca la reconoció públicamente como algo más que una novia.
