Step By Step Build Of The Ultimate Home Workshop! In this video I will be building an extension onto the side of my workshop! We will be demolishing the old building and making the new workshop extension from scratch! If you want to build a DIY home workshop yourself, then this is how you do it! First we dug the footings and poured concrete in, once that was set we worked on the foundations which was two concrete blocks high. It was first filled with large rubble and hard core, then smaller rocks and type 1. Next a waterproof membrane was laid and the concrete floor was poured. The walls were made from concrete block which is stronger than cinder and breeze blocks. We made a timber frame roof with a two layer heavy duty felt on top. Inside the workshop we fitted lots of LED strip lights and plug sockets for power. This extension is made my workshop so much bigger and I'm looking forward to making lots of new pieces of furniture in it. Start-to-finish workshop/garage build in an old barn. Since I have my swingblade sawmill parts painted and stored on a pallet and the truss beam build will be shortly on its way I'm taking the time to look back and remember what was before and what is now. Humble beginnings lead to interesting outcomes. Even though the workshop is starting to get small for my projects (or the builds are getting bigger and bigger) I've still managed to do quite a few builds here. Making this start-to-finish video makes me appreciate my workshop even more. Thanks for watching! My other videos: 🤍 Support me on: 🤍 Follow me on: 🤍

Building a workshop has been a life long dream for me. Now, back in the UK. I'm building a new workspace from the ground up from scratch. For those with questions watch this Q&A too get more info: 🤍 Any Questions you have please leave them in the comments and I'll do my best to get back to them plus I'll add them to and tips video that will come in the future. Tool & Material List: 🤍 Airtable: 🤍 Blender Precision Series: 🤍 Questions: How much was it and how big is it? So keeping tools our of the pricing In total it came to around £1200 But this includes extra wood to make workbenches too. It's 2.9m by 2.9m . Has a close to 7-degree pitch and highest point is 2.49m. Keep in mind that I have completely over-engineered this workshop for 3 reasons. 1. I'm in Scotland and I get a lot of rain so I had to have a pitch on my roof. 2. I'm close to the sea and there is a field with an unobstructed prevailing wind so I get gusts of wind up to gale force 9 pretty regularly. I had to keep room for 100mm rockwool to make sure I could stay warm and more importantly that I would not bug the neighbours too much. Where is the power? All electrics are now in using office conduit. I got a pro for this as I'm not going to take responsibility for electrical work till I've got some real training. I'm sure you can see the conduit in some of my other videos. It goes right around the workspace. Your Door is upside down... Funny story really... Yup that is pretty much how I got the door plus I only really had one option to mount it as I wanted it to open outward to give me a little bit more room for larger projects in the future. Thanks for the heads up thou. I did spend about 20 minutes just looking at the door to think of which way round I should mount the freaking thing.... but oh well it works and it only cost me £5 so beggars can't be choosers. 🛠 Subscribe! I crammed the complete build of my Shop structure into 14 minutes. This was a 6 month project and I've never built one before in my life. So follow along as I stumble my way through. This is from the dirt work to having concrete and a nice shell to build out. I had to level out a nearly 12 ft. elevation change from end to end. The building is a 30'x48' with 16' walls. I designed and ordered the building on Menards website. 6" Posts mounted to concrete tube footings. 12'x12' Garage door. 6.5" Concrete Slab. I will be building out a mezzanine with an office and bathroom. Electrical and spray foam is next up. Then we can build some Land Rovers in there. Today we’ll build a mezzanine in my garage workshop. On the top we will build an office, and underneath will be the home of Neckbeard Laboratories, where any "tinker" activities will take place. This is a "residential" mezzanine usually used in loft apartments to gain some extra space. It's a little over 155 square feet in area. I also carefully chose the height to strike a good balance between both levels. Curtis, who is 6’ 4”, can easily clear both the office and the laboratory, but the workshop has 13’+ ceilings. Join our locals community for exclusive content. 🤍 This is the first video in the series about building a workshop/shed. This first video covers the foundation and floor. The entire series of videos will teach you how to build a workshop/shed for a fraction of the cost of other methods. This video covers the foundation which consists of cinder blocks and pressure treated lumber. The overall size of the floor is 10x16. Which makes for a nice size building. You can do this on your own but I recommend you get the assistance of at least one other person. Make sure everything is square and level with your foundation so your walls and roof go up easy. If things are not then you will have trouble building the rest. Check out the TMTG website at 🤍TMNTG.com. Learn life-skills and so much more! The Man and The GOAT has an awesome podcast! Today on Modern Builds I'm converting the old barn on my new Joshua Tree property into my new DIY / WOODWORKING Workshop!! In this episode I pour a new concrete slab, fix structural problems, add polycarbonate clerestory / transom windows, insulate EVERYTHING, and lined the interior of the garage with plywood. This is an exciting undertaking and episode 2 will be out soon! I am now on the Ariat team! Accessibility is my focus with Modern Builds, not simply accessibility of designs, but accessibility in materials, information, and projects themselves. I've focused on creating furniture and DIY projects that are simple enough that any beginner maker can accomplish, yet interesting enough that any expert might be inspired. Building and making is becoming less and less of an exclusive hobby and profession. My goal is to reduce that separation even further.

#ErCanEverything #DreamGarage #Parkside I finally made my Dream Workshop and Studio for shooting future videos. This challenge took me 25 days every day for 3-4 hours after work. Video processing separate work, because I had to process about 250 short videos shot from different angles. I hope you enjoyed it too, and if you appreciate my work, I invite you to Subscribe on my Channel 🤍ErCanEverything to support me and continue with the new videos. 👉Part 2: 🤍 🔥My new Video editing PC Setup Gaming HP Pavilion & AOC 27" Curved WQHD 2560 x 1440 165Hz 1ms Monitor 👉🤍 👇Subscribe to my Channel🙏🙏🙏 🤍 Facebook👉 🤍 Instagram👉 🤍 👇DIY Plasma Burner👇 Make your own Plasma Burner like a Plasma Lighter, with materials at hand 👉🤍 DIY 20 000 mAh QC3.0 Supported Parkside Power Bank from 20V 4Ah Parkside Battery! In today's episode, I'm building a MASSIVE workbench to get my dream garage organized. Small parts and hardware organization has been a real challenge for me in the workshop, so I'm fabricating and 3D printing my way into the craziest workbench I've ever made. I forgot to mention in the video that the under constructions that I do for the tables at the end of the video will at some point get a plate on top of them so I can store tools and whatnot under the table.
