CONS: - It's a shift-heavy instrument - requires remembering many shortcuts; the screen shows only one parameter at a time which means a lot of menu diving (or use of short cuts using the panel) - The pads aren't velocity-sensitive and only have one "keyboard" layout (isomorphic) - It doesn't have many generative-style features (though some improvement is expected to come in 3.2) - It's not easy to search through content (compared to, for example, MPC One/Maschine) - It's not easy to see automation curves/edit samples - Limited internal synth (though wavetable capabilities have been announced for 3.2) Other places I hang out: ► Instagram: 🤍 ► Facebook: 🤍 ► Twitter: 🤍 ► Web: 🤍 My music: ► Bandcamp: 🤍 ► Spotify: 🤍 ► Apple Music:🤍 TIMELINE: 0:00 Intro 0:50 Grid views 1:50 Controls 4:40 Connectivity 5:35 Project overview 7:55 Sequencing 11:10 Chance & iteration 12:00 Playing live 13:40 Automation 15:10 Song view 17:40 Arranger 21:15 Synth engine 22:50 FM synth 24:40 Multisampling 25:45 Time stretch 27:10 Filters 28:05 Voice options 29:30 Modulation 32:30 Audio clips 33:30 Looping 35:00 Overdub layers 36:40 Resampling 37:45 Effects 39:35 MIDI & CV 41:05 Misc Want to email me personally? ► Ziv (at) loopopmusic.com NOTE: Occasionally I’ll try out affiliate marketing and include affiliate links. Deluge 1933 Full length sci-fi movie. After a devastating flood has almost wiped out civilization, mankind is left to deal with a post-Apocalyptic Earth turned into hellish wasteland. For many years, Deluge was considered lost until Forrest J Ackerman discovered a print dubbed in Italian (La distruzione del mondo) in a film archive in Italy in 1981. A classic vintage science fiction film. - Broken Trout - broken trout movies

Pre-order "Premonitions" here: 🤍 Produced by Oliver König - mbience visuals 🤍 Out May 8th “The Deluge” offers a first glance at the upcoming release spanning a wide range of musical forms and unfolding into a musically unpredictable ode to the unknown. Premonitions is in this sense not only a masterfully told story, but much more a milestone confirming the group’s unique approach towards the genre! Emilio Crespo states: “”The Deluge” represents the personal journeys that the members of SOJOURNER have endured for the past year. A deluge/flood is a devastating event that leaves a trail of destruction in its wake and this is encapsulated in the melancholic lyrics, hard rhythm and blistering leads of the track. We felt that “The Deluge” sets a darker tone and pace for the new album and therefore it was our first choice for the leading single of the new album, Premonitions. Due to the fact we are an international band spanning the globe, we decided to emphasize this in our first video by not pursuing one particular style, but telling the story of all the members coming together from their separate paths while mixing in stylized band shots which were all expertly shot and edited by the talented Oliver König." Mike Lamb adds: "Scotland has some of the most breathtaking landscapes and is a place we all hold close to our hearts for various reasons. That paired with the fact it was the right fit for “The Deluge” and SOJOURNER thematically, it was an easy decision to have the Scottish Highlands as the setting of the video."
Digue is taken from the new DÉLUGE album "Ægo Templo", out November 6th, 2020. Pre-order it here: 🤍 Déluge comments: "We see life as a perpetual battle with your inner self, and 'Digue' (dike, breakwater) symbolizes that constant fight to stay in the bright side of life. To win this battle, we feel the necessity to embrace the dark part of it, in order to see every little glow in the darkness slowly becoming a strong flame, the need to change our perception to eventually see beauty where it is. But it is a curse and a deep weakness not being able to see beauty otherwise. The different scenes in the music video play with these emotions and the battles you fight with yourself, trying to keep yourself into the light." Группа ВК: 🤍 The Deluge (or Potop) is very specific and one of the most saddest periods in the Polish history. In the middle of the 17th century, the then hegemon of Eastern Europe was invaded by almost all its neighbours (Ukrainian Cossacks, Russian Tsardom, Swedish Empire, Brandenburg-Prussia and Transylvania). This video will show the whole chronology of this period on the map (every day). This all started in 1648 year when Cossacks, ruled by Bohdan Khmelnytsky, led a rebellion in the Polish Ukraine and even took Kiev. In 1654 Russia openly supported the uprising and attacked Polish-Lithuanian Commowealth (Rzeczpospolita) on the whole front. In 1655 Sweden after Russian successes in the war invaded Poland and began the main phase of the Deluge. Second Northern War began. Warsaw was occupied, Danzig was in a siege. Brandenburg-Prussia, Holy Roman Empire, Transylvania, Denmark and Netherlands also took part in this conflict. In 1660 after the treaty with Sweden, Poland and Russia fought one-on-one. The Truce of Andrusovo finally ended the Thirteen Years' War between them in 1667. After all that happened Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth didn't recover and weakened more and more. In 1795 Poland definitively losed the independence. Besides wiki (in English, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian languages) I also used sources such as: Polish archives for the Khmelnytsky Uprising (Dokument ob osvobodytelnoi voine ukraynskoho naroda 1648-1654) Runivers for Polish-Russian and Russo-Swedish wars Local Polish sites for the Swedish Deluge and Transylvanian invasion Danish archives, local Swedish and Norwegian sites for the Dano-Swedish War Music: 1. "The Deluge" 1974. Dir. Jerzy Hoffman The film is set in the 17th century during the Swedish invasion of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, known as The Deluge, which was eventually repulsed. However, a quarter of the country's population died through war and plague, and its economy was greatly damaged. —Wikipedia

In 17th century the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was at the top of its power. It was the richest and the most powerful country in the region. At that time it was hit by a series of disastrous events known as the Deluge, which would see the Commonwealth invaded by all of its neighbors and lose most of its territory, only to make a comeback and regain most of its possessions.
