Only 5% of the stuff in our universe is made up of normal matter, but that is where most of us put 100% of our focus and attention. This creates an illusion of separateness where we believe we are alone and that when our material body dies, that's the end. We even call this stuff "matter" because we believe it is all that matters. But, the other 95% of stuff in our universe is made up of energies and a mysterious dark matter, which actually govern our universe, our bodies, our experiences and our lives. This non-material universe can also be called the spiritual universe. As we tap into this spiritual dimension, we start to see how all things are connected, we see relationships, we feel energies, we sense intuition, and we discover the true nature of our mind. Todd Perelmuter takes us on a spiritual journey, from Aloneness to Oneness, where borders and barriers disappear, and open hearts and open minds take hold. It takes us to a place where anger, greed, hatred and fear cease to be, and only love, joy, peace and gratitude remain. Todd Perelmuter studied meditation and mindfulness from world-renowned teachers around the world for over 9 years. Upon his return to the States, he created EastWesticism, a nonprofit dedicated to helping everyone reach their highest potential and lead a peaceful, calm, and stress-free life. This video was inspired from a quote by the French philosopher Blaise Pascal "All of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone". I’m noticing more and more often that people tend to avoid spending time alone, because it makes them feel lonely. Whenever they experience a form of anxiety, they seek the company of others to escape their negative thoughts. To be honest, I do it as well. We all do. But it's increasingly important to stop running away from yourself and learn to spend time alone. It doesn't mean you're lonely, it's actually quite the opposite. It is an invitation to deepen the connection with yourself. It is a sacred space in which you replenish your energy, explore your passions, and cultivate self-love. True growth comes in times when you are alone by yourself, I really do believe that. It is in those moments that you will find clarity, self-discovery, and a deeper sense of inner peace. - Where I Get Music and Sound Effects For My Videos (Free Trial Available): 🤍 Follow me on Instagram :) 🤍 Contact Me: ByRolands🤍gmail.com

The idea of being alone often frightens people. And I agree that being alone forever isn't necessarily a desirable position to be in. However, being separated from the herd for a while to spend time by yourself can benefit us immensely. Let’s explore the power of solitude. Human beings are social creatures. Nevertheless, there were many human beings throughout the ages that chose to live a solitary life. Anthony The Great was one of the Desert Fathers; Christian monks who withdrew from society to live in the deserts of Egypt and follow God. Despite their seclusion, the Desert Fathers were highly influential on the development of Christianity. Since ancient times, Buddhist monks spend time alone - sometimes many months - to deepen their meditation practice and, simply, because they know that happiness comes from within and does not require the presence of other people. In a world that’s never been more connected, we have also never felt so lonely and isolated. We can be in huge crowds, but we can feel completely invisible. We can have thousands of followers and online “friends,” but no one to talk to at the end of the day. Learn the secrets to never feeling alone, which Todd Perelmuter learned firsthand after living in complete solitude in the middle of a New Zealand forest for 50 days. Unlike most of the TV and movies we watch – filled with fear and drama, mocking comedy or heart-stopping action – this documentary will leave you feeling lighter, calmer, happier, more peaceful and joyful than before. Todd Perelmuter studied meditation and mindfulness from world-renowned teachers around the world for over 9 years. Why do we feel lonely in a world where there are billions of people? In a world where we are more connected than ever, why is the suicide rate increasing, and mental health declining? One of the reason is because we are less willing to talk to people face to face. Without that face to face connection, we don't truly get the endorphins we need to feel good. What do you think is causing the loneliness epidemic, and people to feel lonely? Do you have tips to help your fellow community members overcome loneliness? Just remember YOU ARE NOT ALONE. J. Krishnamurti - Brockwood Park 1976 - Small Group Discussion 4 - In aloneness you can be completely secure Summary: Do human beings not radically transform themselves because they are really frightened not to belong to a group, to something definite? Are they afraid to stand completely alone? To be alone implies not to carry the burden of tradition with you. Tradition being knowledge. To be alone implies total freedom. Alone is all one, when there is no fragmentation. That is total order. Can we step out of the stream of this utter confusion, disorder, sorrow, hope, travail, and despair? Our whole society, all religion, all culture is based on thought. Does thought realize it has made this mess, this chaos? Is thought aware of itself as a movement, which brings about a fragmentary action? When the movement of thought comes to an end, there is total action. When you are faced with fact, there is no fear. - This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America. The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.' We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms. Our videos contain thousands of subtitles in more than 25 languages, translated by volunteers from all over the world.
