Sufism on love смотреть последние обновления за сегодня на .
Checkout our book collection here: 🤍 Love is the beating heart of Sufism, infusing this mystical path with a profound and transformative force. Within the Sufi tradition, love is not merely an emotion or a romantic sentiment but a spiritual force of cosmic significance. Love, in Sufism, inspires the mystic path by acting as the magnetic force that draws individuals closer to the Divine. Through love, the Sufi seeks to transcend the ego, the sense of being a separate self, and instead, become completely immersed in the Divine Presence. Love fosters the longing for union with the Beloved, God, and this yearning guides the Sufi's every thought, word, and action. In Sufism, love is not confined to a theoretical concept but is a lived experience. It is through the depths of love that the Sufi endeavours to annihilate the self, surrendering to God entirely. This process, known as "fana," involves the dissolution of the ego and the separation between the lover and the Beloved. It is in this annihilation that the Sufi seeks to attain a state of divine union, where the self merges with God. The poetry of Sufi mystics, such as Rumi and Hafiz, beautifully expresses the ecstasy and longing of divine love. #sufism #rumi #islammysticism Script: Matt Mackane Edit: Medo Voiceover: Matt Mackane DISCLAIMER 01: All ideas expressed on this channel are for entertainment and general information purposes only. The mystical metaphysics of Love is one of the most recurring themes in Sufism, as it is in many other religious traditions. In this collaboration with Dr. Justin Sledge and the channel ESOTERICA, we explore the Love Mystics of Islam and Christianity. Here I talk about Sufi women like Rabi'a al-Adawiyya and A'isha al-Ba'nuiyya and what role they played in the development of Islamic mysticism. In Dr. Sledge's video, he talks about the Beguine mystics of medieval Christianity with figures like Mechtild of Magdeburg, Hadewijch & Marguerite Porete. In this video we bring you 7 life lessons from the philosophy of Rumi. Rumi, arguably the best Sufi poet in history, has written many illustrious poems depicting love. His poems are engraved in the literature books for eternity. So with that in mind, here are 7 important life lessons we can learn from Rumi - 01. There is something you can do better than anyone else 02. You don’t have to see the whole staircase 03. The wound is the place where the light enters you 04. The gold mine lies within you 05. Love is within you 06. Let go of judgment 07. Change yourself to change the world I hope you enjoyed watching the video and hope these 7 Life Lessons From Rumi will add value to your life. Sufism began some 9 centuries ago and is focused on reaching the divine - the power that created the skies, the earth, us and life as a whole, through love. It means that in Sufism, we human beings are lovers, the divine is beloved and to love the divine, we need to connect back to the essence of life and understand that we and the world are one. Sufism has given the world some of its brightest minds and poets and one of those people is known as Maulana, Jalāl al-Dīn Muḥammad Rūmī, arguably the best Sufi poet in history. Rumi, a Persian scholar at first, then a Mystic, has written many illustrious poems depicting love and its central role as the bridge to reach the divine; poems that are engraved in the literature books for eternity. His brilliance caught the eyes of people since his childhood. His father, a famous scholar back then, had personally taken the responsibility of teaching him. He deepened his knowledge at a very young age and after the death of his father, he was destined to succeed him as a scholar. But Rumi wanted to learn more, so he connected with another brilliant teacher named Al Tarmithi and a few years later, his teacher left him because he considered that he had nothing left to teach his student, Rumi was now a complete scholar. Rumi was adored by his followers and when he held assemblies, he had a large crowd as attendees. However, life and the divine had other plans for him. In 1244, Rumi encountered Shams Tabrizi, a traveling Sufi dervish who changed his core understanding of life. Rumi became so fond of Shams that he neglected his students and his family and spent days and nights with him, all to grasp the essence of pure love and how to express it to reach the divine. Rumi turned from a Scholar to a Sufi poet who sang for love, danced in circles, which is now called Sufi whirling or the whirling dervish, and wrote poems that are still relevant today continuing to have a deep influence. The 13th-century Sufi mystic Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī also known as Mevlana, or simply as Rumi, observed that all phenomena of nature are bound together by love. Love is what keeps planets orbiting their stars, stars encircling the centers of their galaxies, and electrons revolving around the nucleus of an atom. Love is the force that keeps us together and moving and immerses an otherwise cold world of matter with warmth. Within the Islamic mystic branch that is known as Sufism, love is seen as a divine essence, and only through the path of love, we can see the truth and become one with the whole, like a drop that becomes one with the ocean. But love is not something to be found outside of us in the material world. The divine essence, something that goes beyond the ego and the senses, lies already inside us at the core of our being. It’s a force that the intellect cannot comprehend and, therefore, our minds cannot search nor perceive it. But we can feel it. And it can only be revealed if we find freedom from what tethers us to the world of matter, and remove the barriers that separate us from a boundless ocean of love. We don't need to seek love. We just have to stop resisting it (the poetry of Rumi). A selection of mystical poems rendered by Daniel Ladinsky in the style of Hafiz from Daniel Ladinsky's book - "I heard God Laughing." . * Please be aware of the issue around Daniel Ladinsky's translations of "Hafiz." According to Omid Safi, (Islamic Studies Professor at Duke University), Ladinsky's poems "have no earthly connection to what the historical Hafiz of Shiraz, the Persian sage, ever said. He is making it up. He admitted that they are not "translations", or "accurate", or has any knowledge of Persian in his 1996 book "I heard God laughing." Ladinsky actually states that Hafez appeared to him in a dream and handed him the ENGLISH “translations” he’s publishing." The way towards the divine presence and spiritual awakening is based on love and 'muhabbat' within the heart. Real faith is love. Without this love, one is devoid of true faith. Many may study and practice a religion through their head, but if the practice is not centered on the heart, it has yet to affect their soul. The ultimate love and destination for all souls is the divinely love, through the presence of the holy Prophet (ص). The first in our new series of English-language videos for the aspirants of Sufism, this video is a great introduction to anyone wishing to embark on the Sufi path. Summary: - Sufism is the path of love and purification. Through it, you apply to God for his love. To follow this path, you adapt the ways of the Sufis. - Sufism involves Activation of the Spiritual Heart, the celestial soul that sits on top of the physical heart. It is the gateway of love. You will obtain this Activation of the Spiritual Heart only through a divinely ordained Spiritual Mediator. ‘Whoever recognises himself has only recognised his Lord.’ - Prophetic Tradition - The Self is of two types: terrestrial and celestial. The Terrestrial Self is the Subtlety of Nafs (Lower Self) and the Celestial Self is the Subtlety of Ana (Higher Self). Ana means ‘I’ in Arabic and it is representation of God in us. - There are many thousands of Sufis who are successful in purifying their Nafs, but they never managed to see God. So this word ‘Self’, in this particular Prophetic Tradition does not refer to the Lower Self; rather, it is referred to the Higher Self which is the Ana. This is why the Lower Self is directly connected to the Higher Self. When both are purified, you are a complete Self. —— 💞 Show your love and support for ALRA TV with wearable souvenirs: 🤍 ➡️This video is a clip from Sufi Online with Younus AlGohar, a daily show on ALRA TV streamed LIVE on YouTube at 10 PM BST - join us here: 🤍 ❓Have a question for Sayyidi Younus AlGohar?
