Across six studio albums he’s shown a flair for producing sounds that are both steeped in emotional resonance and able to energise a dancefloor. Whether he’s alone at the controls or conducting orchestral arrangements, Green instils a depth of feeling into his tracks that always hits the spot. ‘The North Borders’, was a worldwide sensation, topping electronic charts across each side of the Atlantic, and sparking a tour which cut a path through four continents and 30 countries. An estimated two million people saw the 12-piece Bonobo band in action, with audiences left stunned in their globe-trotting wake. Now Bonobo’s seventh album ‘Migration’ draws upon international influences, exploring themes of humanity and spatially defined identity within characteristically stirring tracks. A residency at renowned New York club Output and numerous Outlier dates in many more of the world’s finest venues has also provided the opportunity to road test the tracks and ensure their dancefloor impact. Green’s DJ sets draw upon this wealth of back catalogue gold, as well as the variety of spellbinding records he’s collected over the years, to form moving musical trips.

Chris is playing on the Pioneer DJ DJM-V10 DJ, producer, and Up The Stuss head honcho Chris Stussy has had a whirlwind few years - releases on much celebrated labels including Eastenderz, PIV, and Kerri Chandler’s Kaoz Theory tell the tale of this Dutch artist’s quick ascent to the top. Norman Jay MBE and Melvo Baptiste playing an eclectic Carnival sounds set in this Shoulder to Shoulder (S2S) set at Mixmag and Monkey Shoulder's next-level house party in London. Shoulder to Shoulder is a movement created in partnership between Monkey Shoulder - the 100% malt whisky made for mixing - and Mixmag, endeavouring to rewrite nightlife and create a more equitable, supportive music scene. We asked you, the people, for input to help us rewrite the night. After putting out a series of questions on social media, we gathered essential information on how to support nightlife and throw the best party imaginable. Norman Jay MBE has been a leading figure in UK dance music since he first set up his soundystem, Good Times, with his brother in the late '70s — becoming a leading voice in advocating Notting Hill Carnival and giving London's Black underground music scene a voice via his work on Kiss FM, the BBC and - more recently - Soho Radio. A true aficionado of all things funk, soul and jazz — this is the chance to catch a legendary British selector in the flesh. He will be joined by Glitterbox and Defected alum Melvo Baptiste, a DJ and producer who has worked to push forward-thinking soul into the modern underground sphere; alongside knock-out sets at venues such as London's Printworks and Ibiza's Hï, Baptiste boasts an imitable discography — counting the likes of Louie Vega, Dave Lee, Horse Meat Disco and Honey Dijon as supporters. Shoulder to Shoulder is committed to support the hardworking organisations that make our nights out happen — and it looks like you are too, with 92% of you voting for more funding to UK nightlife. Therefore we are asking for support for the Music Venue Trust Night Time Industries Association and Free The Night.

Ukraine's Daria Kolosova makes her Mixmag debut with an hour of unforgettable techno grooves. Filmed at the Mixmag Lab stage at Awakenings festival. Like this? Subscribe: 🤍 From Berghain to Bassiani, Fabric to Fold, Amnesia to Awakenings, Daria Kolosova's recent rise to become one of techno's hottest names is unmatched. Her love for music was instilled by her father and her devotion to electronic music began at the age of 9 when she first heard 'Diesel Power' by The Prodigy. To fuel her love for music even further, her mother sent her to music school where she studied piano. Yet being drawn to DJing from an early age, Daria embraced her vocation which led to her first performance in February 2010. As a DJ, Kolosova never aims to deliver what is expected of her, but rather tries to convey her personal narratives through music. Daria sees music as the most genuine method of communication, empathy and unity - a tool that helps her transform her distinctive energy into a story that can be shared with people on the dance floor. She desires to not only provide a danceable and enjoyable set but inspire and introduce people to something fresh and daring.

Having established a remarkable energy, style and attitude on the underground techno circuits of both London and Berlin, she is known for inspiring debauchery and sweat-soaked hedonism on an international scale. Jayda G and Ruby Savage playing disco, funk and house in this Shoulder to Shoulder (S2S) set at Mixmag and Monkey Shoulder's next-level house party in Leeds. With more than 50% picking disco as the genre you’d play if handed the aux at a house party, Jayda G was a no-brainer of a booking. Her high-energy sets are becoming the stuff of dance music legend, while her productions have seen her earn a GRAMMY nomination. When you’re throwing a party and Jayda G is on the decks, you know it’s going to go off. Ruby Savage, a fellow champion of good vibes whose sets make you feel alive, and who deserves all the props coming her way. Together, they’ll be a force. Support sets will come from Leeds local heroes. Michael Upson will play alongside DJ Subaru, founders of the the pumping queer dance party Love Muscle and inclusive party PLEASUREMAXXX respectively, while Cosmic Slop DJs - devotees to partying for a charitable cause - are soundtracking the second room all-night long. Drinks wise, we’ll be leaning into house party classics with a stocked menu of spirits and mixers on offer, and a small selection of tasty cocktails available, made by mixing experts Monkey Shoulder. And since so many of you, naturally, picked dancing as your favourite house party activity, we’ll be focusing our production efforts on the dancefloors. In Leeds, that will be in the kitchen, the room you picked as your favourite. The bedrooms, voted the least important rooms at a house party, will be used as chilling and bar areas. After many of you called for more diversity on line-ups as the one thing you’d do to change nightlife for the better, we’ve kept this front of mind when booking the bills. Another common answer was more support for more grassroots venues and organisations, with a vast majority of people hoping to see more funding for UK nightlife, so we built support for the Music Venue Trust, Night Time Industries Association and Free The Night in the campaign. These organisations support existing infrastructure in the UK and embolden those whose work makes nightlife a place of acceptance and inspiration. Our design competition found a budding creative to get paid and have their work showcased at the event.

Artists lined up across the remainder of the residency, with runs every Friday until October 6, include Pete Tong, Anja Schneider, Carl Craig, Goldie, Ida Engberg, Cassy, Erick Morillo and Adam Beyer, marking out Labyrinth as one the best new parties to hit Ibiza this season. Tickets are on sale here. Hot Since 82’s appearance at the debut Lab IBZ event will be another milestone in what looks set to be a spectacular summer for the Yorkshire-hailing artist.
