This is how to get started driving a Manual Transmission. A pedal camera will show the footwork while we drive my 2022 Honda Civic Si. We'll review it all from the basics of how it works, to getting you up a hill from a stop. I'll also show you how to downshift with proper rev matches and an introduction to heel toe downshifting so you can brake and downshift at the same time. Listen to the Podcast! Probably the best manual video I have seen so far. Excellent explanations, thanks!
I just drove my dad today thanks for the video my dad was surprised by my driving and just to add it in im 12🤫
That’s exactly I started my son and daughter off. Have to learn clutch control. Except my daughter I started on an uphill climb not allowing her to use the gas! I know I’m mean.
thankyou now i'm going on cycle
I’m jus tryna learn how to drive💯 love your videos
I am in disbelief that y'all drive like this but I most definitely gotta learn manual lmao
Thank you so much Tedwaard. Is the car a civic?!
This guy cool i learned this in 3 hrs
So is rev match better or heel toe downshift better?
Thank you I can't wait to have a car
I can do this with a typical commuter car, right? I have a 2014 Hyundai Accent and my blips aren't as quick as this Civic.
Edit: Oh well, I'm doing it anyway. Thanks for showing me how to do it.
Thanks!
When rev matching. Am I suppose to rev it then release the clutch because I feel like my revs are to low by the time I actually release the clutch. Or am I suppose to rev it as I’m releasing the clutch?
Gearing up is no problem for me but gearing down is a problem
Neutral Jiggle 😆
Video for gays to become men😂😂😂
It is not the parking brake, it is hand brake. No experienced driver uses it for parking. It is mostly used for handing over the documents, drifting, and emergency. Definetly not parking. It is definitely a bad piece of advise for those who would ever drive a car outside of warm climate.
PntTra6wJPE&t=3m25s 3:25 they are using hand branke for parking not because they don't trust, but because use they don't live in warm climate. And this is the pretty much the only universal way of parking in manual.
i dont get the balancing of the clutch and throttle, why dou you do that? cant i just take my foot of the clutch completely and press throttle if needed?
